Wow! What a super cake! But in the interest of decency I do think he needs clothes, I mean he looks just a little bare. I don't know why you would want to take the cake mould home. I just wait till cakes grows green and furry and, voila, cake mould in the shape of the cake. I am glad there is something over in Canada that is not bigger and better than in Europe. I refer of course to the 5 pin bowling, which you will have no doubt calculated represents a mere 55.555555555% of our 9 pin version. Don't worry about me; like your mum says it's Oldtimer's disease. Do you know what the nicest thing about getting old is? Well, it's having such super grandchildren.

Love Granddad.

Wow Jazz - that cake looks brilliant - was it hard to do. By all means bring the mould home but I'm not sure I could do as nice a job - you'll have to show me how.

As for the bowling - was that third out of .... ahem ..... three. never mind - just remember it's the winning that matters not the taking part - or is it the other way round - I'm never sure. Aiden came round yesterday and has finally figured that you're not here - he thinks you're still on the plane even though we did show him all the lovely pictures.

The cake was way harder than I thought it would be to make, mostly because I made the icing too think. The kids all put a few stars on but it took too much strength. In the end, I had to water down the icing, but I still busted open three 12-year-old pastry bags. Now I can't decorate any more cakes until I replace the bags.
